Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our enterprise sales organization as the Head of Consultant Strategy. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Partnerships, this role will be instrumental in promoting Function Health's services to consultants and brokers at leading firms such as Aon, Willis Towers Watson, Mercer, Lockton, and others. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the employee benefits landscape and a proven track record of building and nurturing relationships within the consulting and brokerage community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Relationship Development: Identify, establish, and cultivate relationships with key consultants and brokers at top firms to promote Function Health's services.
- Market Evangelism: Act as the primary advocate for Function Health's offerings, articulating the value proposition and benefits to consultants, brokers, and their clients.
- Collaborative Partnership Building: Work closely with consulting and brokerage partners to integrate Function Health's services into their client solutions, ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives.
- Sales Support: Lead the development and execution of strategies to support sales pipelines by leveraging consulting and broker influence, driving revenue growth and market penetration.
- Industry Engagement: Represent Function Health at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership within the employee benefits sector.
- Feedback Integration: Gather insights from partners to inform product development and service enhancements, ensuring Function Health's offerings meet market needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in consulting, business development, or partnership roles within the healthcare, wellness, or employee benefits industries.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the employee benefits consulting and brokerage landscape, including key players and market dynamics.
- Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with senior-level stakeholders at consulting and brokerage firms.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and market expansion.
- Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority. Ability to build a team from the ground up as we justify expansion.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
