Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and highly experienced Enterprise Partnerships - East to join our growing enterprise sales organization. This is a quota-carrying role focused on driving new business by identifying, engaging, and securing partnerships with employers across the United States with 5,000 or more employees.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of closing large enterprise deals, a robust network within the employer benefits ecosystem, and deep relationships with consultants and brokers.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development:
- Actively prospect, identify, and engage new employer clients with a minimum of 5,000 employees, introducing them to Function Health’s offerings.
- Drive the full sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and close.
- Market Expertise:
- Leverage an in-depth understanding of the employer benefits space and Function Health’s value proposition to position the company as a trusted partner.
- Utilize existing relationships with consultants, brokers, and benefits leaders to uncover opportunities and accelerate deal cycles.
- Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at target employers, as well as with influential consultants and brokers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, offering tailored solutions to meet client needs and address pain points.
- Quota Achievement:
- Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by securing new logo business.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and activity reports to leadership.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and product, to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the enterprise partnerships team to enhance go-to-market strategies and identify new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise sales, with a focus on the employer benefits or healthcare industries.
- Demonstrated success in securing large enterprise deals with Fortune 1000 companies or equivalent.
- Industry Expertise:
- Extensive network of contacts within the employer benefits space, including benefits leaders, consultants, and brokers.
- Deep understanding of the dynamics and decision-making processes within large employer organizations.
- Sales Acumen:
- Exceptional ability to drive complex sales cycles and close high-value deals.
- Strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to align solutions with client needs.
- Communication & Presentation Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey Function Health’s value proposition to diverse audiences.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
